I didn't know at age 11 that I met the man who was to become my husband. For years I kept in touch with Roneef and then we lost contact for about 17 years. I searched for him on Facebook and found his sister (Maia), I sent her a message and she relayed it to him. On May 22, 2009, I received a voicemail message from him, I was so excited. At the time I was living in Illinois and in the process of moving back to Michigan. The next morning, I was coming to Detroit for Memorial Day weekend, as they say, "the rest is history". So, on Saturday, December 3, 2011, I get to marry my best friend, he is my King and I am his Queen. We submit to each other.

Even though I had no idea Roneef was "THE ONE",  I thank GOD everyday for this beautiful and fulfilling relationship. In the words of CeCe Winans, "He is more than I wanted and everything I never had. You are the miracle I needed so bad".

Roneef, my love, there aren't enough words in the whole universe that can express what I feel for you, I love you with Agape love, the love of Christ, I pray everyday, that I never take you for granted. Thank you for loving me. You are truely a man after God's own heart.

I am so excited about becoming Mrs. Roneef Troutman. I look forward to seeing him at the alter waiting for me to become his wife. That day will be priceless!!!
