We will enjoy a relaxing drive through Saddle Road with views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on our way to the most beautiful falls on Hawaii. Covering nearly two miles of gorgeous tropical river gorges, this 8-line zip course promises views of different waterfalls as we soar over 160 feet above them. Certified staff will guide us over one of the longest lines on Hawaii Island at more than 2,400 feet in length. We will ride the only all side-by-side dual track zipline on Hawaii. Afterwards we will enjoy a picnic deli style lunch. Next, we will take a scenic drive along the Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls. We will explore Akaka Falls before returning to Kona.

We don’t want to miss the opportunity to experience this award winning snorkel cruise to historic Kealakekua Bay. This 4-1/2 hour cruise departs daily from Keauhou Bay and includes 2-1/2 hours of snorkeling at pristine Kealakekua Bay, snorkel gear, instruction, and TWO 15’ water slides. We will get our hike on with a Park Service certified guide on our Kilauea Hike 'n Glow tour. This is a specialized tour designed for adventurous guests looking to get off the beaten path and head off to unique areas of the Park not normally visited on organized tours. Starting at our resort in Kona, our guide will pick us up and drive us through the "saddle" between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea volcanoes. We will make a quick stop at a store in Hilo for provisions before heading off to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Here we will discover what makes this unique place a UNSESCO World Heritage Site and International Biosphere Preserve. We will start with a visit to the Kilauea Visitor's Center and a picnic-style lunch. Next we will visit the Jaggar Museum, and then on to the Thurston Lava Tube, hike down into the Kilauea Iki crater through the rainforest and across the still-steaming crater floor. This 4-mile hike culminates in a walk through the Thurston Lava Tube. Next we will visit the famous Volcano House. The Volcano House is a landmark which inspired the likes of Mark Twain and Jack London. Then we will enjoy a delicious dinner with Kilauea Volcano safely erupting in the distance through the picture windows. Our adventure will end with a stop at the Halemaumau Crater to view the glow up close before returning to our hotel.

This tour is moving in more ways than one. Explore and honor three historic sites that shaped the outcome of World War II in this. You will visit the USS Arizona Memorial where the United States was catapulted into WWII and its fight in the Pacific began. Next, enjoy a tour of the Battleship Missouri. Knowledgeable guides provide colorful stories about the ship’s history and life at sea during a 35-minute guided tour. Later, honor the freedoms bestowed upon us by all those who bravely served our country since WWI at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. Before heading back into Waikiki, you will drive through historic Honolulu to see Hawaii State Capitol and Honolulu City Hall, Iolani Palace and King Kamehameha Statue, and Kawaiaha`o Church.

We will see Haleakala Crater, Oheo Gulch, Hana Town, Hana rainforest, and the rugged shoreline of Northeast Maui. Knife-edged ridges with mist-shrouded peaks separate the spectacular valleys that give Maui its nickname, "The Valley Isle." Waterfalls cascade down from towering cliffs into the streams running along the rainforest floor. We will learn about the history and culture of the sights from our pilot, who is also a State of Hawaii Certified Tour Guide.
