First and foremost, we would like to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for being such an important part of our lives! We are truly lucky to have the love and support of friends and family like you, and we are honored to have you here with us today as we begin our lives together as a married couple!

Our first stop on this journey that we call marriage is one that we have been looking forward to for so long - the honeymoon!!! For this special occasion, we will be jetting off to the crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches of Playa Mujeres, Mexico, where we have booked a week-long stay at the 5-star, adults-only resort Excellence Playa Mujeres. This resort has everything that we are wanting in a honeymoon destination: luxurious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for peace and quiet, but still enough activities to keep us entertained. We seriously could not be more excited about this once-in-a-lifetime trip!

So we're asking for your help. In lieu of a large, traditional wedding registry, we have created this website to give you the opportunity to help us make our honeymoon everything we've ever dreamed of and more! As you browse through the sections below, you will read about all of the different activities and amenities we've selected to create our perfect vacation. You will then be given the opportunity to select the activities or amenities that you'd like to sponsor, and through your generous contributions, our dream honeymoon will soon become reality!!!

As we researched our honeymoon, one of the activities that a lot of Tripadvisor reviewers raved about was the hydrotherapy circuit offered by the resort's Miile Spa. So of course, we just HAVE to check it out ourselves. The hydrotherapy circuit is a series of hydrotherapy treatments that use water-based therapies that are designed to prepare us for relaxation. These include exhilarating high pressure jets, bubble massages, sensation showers, tropic rain showers, cold pool plunges, saunas, and Hammam (the spa's Arab-style steam baths). Sounds good to us! When we traveled to St. Maarten on our cruise a few years ago, one of the greatest things that we were able to do together was rent a jetski and take it out on the open water! We seriously laughed the entire time! Well luckily for us, Excellence Playa Mujeres also has jetskis to rent! By selecting this gift, you will be treating us to a half-hour of pure fun and craziness on our own jetski, and who knows, you might even be able to hear us laughing all the way back in the States!

One of the great things about our resort is that it is located right next to Playa Mujeres Golf Club, which has been rated one of the Top 10 courses in all of Mexico. This 18-hole course was designed by Greg Norman, and it boasts nine holes that are nestled right up next to the ocean. By purchasing this gift, you'll be treating us to an incredible round of golf that I'm sure we'll be talking about for years to come. Who knows, they may end up talking about us for years to come too... I wonder what the record is for most balls hit into the water in a single round? Hmmm...

These include sea kayaks, Hobie cats (which are little sailboats that are sure to be a blast), and snorkeling at one of the nearby reefs. The room itself is a beautifully appointed suite, complete with a king bed, a 2-person jacuzzi tub, a 2-person rainshower, and a balcony with an oceanfront view. But that's not all! We will also have our own private rooftop terrace which overlooks the entire resort and is complete with a large daybed, our own small pool w/ waterfall, and an outdoor shower. AMAZING! And from what we've read on Tripadvisor reviews, Basmati Indian Restaurant is one of the best dinners we'll find in the whole resort! To get to our amazing honeymoon destination, we have scheduled round-trip air transportation between St. Louis and Cancun through American Airlines. Our trip will begin bright and early on Tuesday, November 6, and we'll be returning home a week later after an incredible honeymoon together. By selecting this gift, you will be purchasing one of our flights, which goes a long way (literally...) toward making our amazing honeymoon a reality.

When we arrive in Cancun, we will be met at the airport by a private luxury shuttle that will transport us, in high style, to our beautiful resort. Then, once our trip is over, our private shuttle will meet us once again at the resort to take us back to the airport.
