We met in Florida while attending the Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal. You might say it was love at first sight but it took us a while to actually speak to one another since dating wasn't technically allowed. However, once we did spend some time together the rules didn't matter to either one of us. We fell in love rather quickly and we both knew we had found the person with whom we could spend the rest of our lives. Most of our dating relationship was spent long distance after Matt left Florida. I spent time in Mississippi and Arizona while Matt was in California but we saw each other as often as we could. While I was in Arizona we took turns driving to see each other every weekend as we just couldn't stand to be apart. Once I got out of the Air Force in October 2010 we were finally able to be together in California. Matt has deployed three times during our relationship and he most recently returned in November 2012.

We are so very excited to share our special day with you and finally tie the knot!!

Our wedding will be taking place at The Golf Club of California in Fallbrook, CA at 4pm on February 8, 2013. The ceremony will be held outdoors with a reception to follow at the same location indoors.

We are honored to be having my childhood Pastor Dan Iles officiating our ceremony. He and his wife Linda have been a very important and influencial part of my life.

Matt and I will be traveling to Rarotonga, the capitol of the Cook Islands on Feb 10 to stay at the Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa. We will enjoy 5 nights in a private honeymoon bungalow just steps from the beach.
