We met on Match.com in October 2012. After many emails back and forth, and several phone calls, we had our first date on Saturday, October 27, 2012. I was in a Guild Sponsored Mystery Quilt workshop, sewing all day, and Scott called me at 4pm to invite me over for grilled steaks and to watch a Giant's World Series game. When we finally met in person for the very first time, we hit it off instantly! "Matches" right and left. We are still discovering "Matches" every day. Attending Family gatherings on both our sides thru the 2012 holidays gave us wonderful feedback on each other.

Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend, 2013. Sunday, May 26, we went to the Glorious Junk Days in Old Town Clovis, then Scott surprised me by driving to the Fresno Mall to look at rings. Monday, Memorial Day, we went back to the Mall and each of us chose our rings. Scott officially proposed that evening, Monday, May 27, on our 7 month 'Dating' anniversary.

     We decided we wanted to get married this year. So with not a lot of time to plan, we jumped right in and started looking for a venue that was available close to the date of what will be our 1 year Anniversary.

It's officia! The date is Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 5:00 PM

The venue is the Tuscan Room at Pardini's in Fresno. It is a beautiful "Italian" themed room to honor my heritage, and we will incorporate some Scottish wedding traditions in our ceremony to honor Scott's heritage as well. Our wedding reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the same location.

There will be dining, dancing, entertainment, good times for all!  The Tuscan Room has its own private 'No-Host Bar' and a cozy intimate lounge with fireplace where you can sit comfortably and visit with family and friends before the ceremony and after dinner. 

All of the details are being worked out and you should be receiving invitations very soon.

Our Honeymoon will be in Hawaii. Paradise awaits us at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Resort. We are definitely excited to be traveling to the Island of Oahu.

This will be Scott's first visit to Hawaii. We plan to visit Pearl Harbor and tour the Island in addition to relaxing, swimming, sunning, etc. We may even learn to do the Hula. A Sunset Dinner Cruise sounds romantic and the Friday night Fireworks at our hotel will be fantastic.
